Go and Win Them

Life has been fairly normal lately.  We attended Revival services last week at our church with Rev. and Mrs. Dan Durkee and their three boys.  The services were exceptional!  We enjoyed their ministry so much.  What an amazing family!  The music was beautiful and demonstrated so much talent.  The sermons were spectacular!  God spoke to my heart time and again throughout the services.  May we each seek to win souls for Christ.  There may be a little one out there who will one day be a "Dan Durkee" for Jesus.  We must be faithful to tell others about Him.  Every child has the potential of being a Christian.

Painting Fun!

Creating a Masterpiece!

Messy!

Painting an orange

This is lookin' good!

Having fun together!
Christianna has been home all week for Mid-Winter Break.  Joshua loves having her home since she spends so much time with him.  They miss each other tremendously and so they make up for it when she comes home from college.  This week they have played with Lincoln logs together, read lots and lots of books, played computer games together, colored together, done dishes together, cleaned up messes together, visited "Community Markets" together (a small town grocery store), and most fun of all painted together.

Joshua's dream for the past few months finally came true this morning.  Almost every time Joshua talked to Christianna on the phone, he would ask her to paint with him.  She promised to do this when she came home.  So, this was the morning, although Joshua hadn't mentioned it since she has been home.  This was his first time painting, and he loved it.  In fact, he has been begging to do it again this evening!  I'm sure he'll be reminding her many times in the future about doing it again.

Sadly, Big Sister has to return to college on Monday.  She will be missed by a little brother immensely!  He wakes her up in the morning ready to do something with her!  He loves her so much.  Monday will come all too soon and our sad little boy will have to say "good-bye" to his big sister.  Worse yet, August is going to bring greater sadness when both sisters have to say "good-bye."  Joshua is going to be lost without them!
