"Mommy, there's Fluffy!" (She looked almost like our dog we had put to sleep last year.) He really liked her!

"These duckies are so little!"James and I celebrated our 22nd wedding anniversary by going to Holmes County for a couple of days. Evangelyn and Nathan stayed home due to work responsibilities, while Joshua went with us. We would have preferred him staying with Grandpa and Grandma, but we have tried it in the past, and he gets very homesick when nighttime rolls around. He'll start crying, which in turn, causes him to vomit. So ...... he went with us. (Just an added note: He FREQUENTLY throws up whenever he cries ~ I mentioned this to the doctor, and she thought that it is probably due to a strong gag reflex ~ Not fun to deal with.)
We really enjoyed "Hershberger's" where fried pies are for sale and a free farm petting zoo is open to all visitors. Joshua has not been to the zoo in the last couple of years, so he was scared at first, but LOVED it, and still talks about the fun he had there.
